Shark fishing in Miami has been good this year we have been getting some large black tip sharks. We hooked one last week that jumped five times, ran the guys all over the boat, and we have been getting some over 100 pounds. They seem to run large this time of year.

Black tip sharks are pound for pound the strongest sharks that run through the Biscayne bay and inshore Miami area.

Lemon sharks have been biting good. You have to fish from a shallow draft boat to get the lemon sharks to bite. Everyone that fishes for them for the first time does not believe that a shark will be in such shallow water.

One of the kids favorite sharks to catch are bonnet head sharks. We also get these in the shallows of Biscayne bay.
